This class is a senior level course. Unless you are a history major, DO NOT TAKE IT. The class is very reading intensive and he gives so many assignments. I like him as a person and professor, but this class has ruined my semester.

This man is incredible! If you are unable to understand his language, educate yourself by purchasing a effing dictionary. It's an honors class, you're expected to learn, and come up with your own thoughts. TAKE THE CLASS HIS INCREDIBLE!

This class is alot of work. He talks in words that are over peoples head half of the time and usually talks the whole class. When you do homework assignments you then sit in a circle and talk about your answers. Other than the huge load of work (typed 10 page book synopsis - single spaced)he is actually a funny guy and clearly very intelligent.

This is one of the most interesting, thought provoking classes I have ever taken. Professor Clarke is brilliant and hilarious. The readings and films are really good, too.

The actual class was boring, unless we got off on an unrelated topic or dicussion that was always more interesting than Clarke droning on. He rarely introduced new material in class and repeated himself in incomprehensible ways. The essays, readings, and videos were really interesting though. For that reason I would still recommend this class.

Can't remember the class number, but it was cultural analysis of the holocaust/genocide. WOW this guy is full of himself. We had us read an article he wrote and crafted a question sheet where we had to write all of the things that "struck us" in the article. All of the tests have opinion based multiple choice questions. Not a bad person, but MAN!!!

Never followed the syllabus he handed out the first day of class. Never gave out any hint of what anyones grades were throughout the semester. Tests were based on textbook but his lectures never went over covered material you would be tested on. Allowed off topic rediculous questions and discussions and always failed to regain control over class.

He is a good person, but has an attitude that his opinions are always right. He uses big words and talks in circles and rarely answers your questions outright. He can be offended easily but even when he is worked up its comical so who cares. Although he can self absorbed he knows his stuff and has a cult like following in his students.

Charlie is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He makes you work hard(afterall it is an honors class) He makes you think cognitivly and learn more about the Holocaust then you could imagine. I was a part of the Project HGSP, and it changed my life.

Charlie kicks butt! He is by far one of the most awesome professors I've ever had. He knows his stuff and he's not afraid to be a realist. He makes you think, and in the process forces you to learn things for yourself. Take every class you can with him!

Charlie's classes were GREAT. I recomend them to anyone interested in these areas. Very enriching and doing the work that was assigned helped in creating a new sense or view on old subjects. Well worth the time and effort, Charlie has a great teaching technique.

Professor Clarke is one of a kind, this was a great class and he did a wonderful job teaching it. Beware though his quizes were a bit tough and keep all you returned work. Also beware that this class may make you comfortable talking about sex in most social situations. Teacher and class highly recomended.

Good teacher, fun sex class. He's weird though, and really likes his own voice. Doesn't always listen when you try to talk with him. Most questions just go in circles as you try to explain the question over and over. Don't expect to leave early any days, even the last. Quizzes are difficult, movies SUCK.

A very straight forward professor. He Knows his Subjects extremely well and will challenge you into understanding the material more than making you memorize it. What all professors should be like if you really want a good education.
