Don't use electronic devices during his lectures! He hates that. Dr. Dellheim is very friendly, but his lectures feel long if you're not a history-minded person (I'm rather sciency). There is a lot to read, and I was pretty much lost 80% of the time - I advice you all to go to the TF's office hours to get everything straight before writing papers.

A nice guy, smart yet personable, and excited about both teaching and his subject. Assigns a lot of reading, most of which is necessary for the papers. Lectures do not cover what was covered in the readings, but give interesting supplemental information to them.

Prof. Dellheim is a very nice professor, one of the nicest in fact that i've come across at BU. The lectures aren't always exciting..but they're lectures. He's very knowledgeable and gives a study guide for exams which is so helpful. only thing is that you'll have to wiki the things on the study guide but if you do, you'll do just fine

Dellheim is very funny and entertaining, although he has a tendency to be long-winded and a bit pretentious. assigns way too much reading, most of which is necessary. not worth the trouble to satisfy a requirement.

Excusably pretentious, very smart, good lecturer- Lectures tend to meander into personal stories of his own travels and restaurants he likes in Venice, but otherwise pretty good. He is clever and he knows it, assigns way too much reading

Professor Dellheim is the best professor I've had at the university. His lectures are incredible and I could listen to him speak for hours. That said..."Abandon all hope ye who enter here..." But what is college about, anyway?
