I struggled with this online course...as did a number of fellow classmates. I invested as much as 25-30 hours some weeks to just try to understand the basics. I feel like there should be more resources to make this class make sense, but I don't think the "in-class" class did much better than the online class. It was pretty hard.

I took Intro to Philosophy with Mr. Epton and absolutely loved it. If you can do basic math you can pass this class. It seems like there's a lot of homework but really it's all pretty simple so it goes by quickly. I used to do all my homework due the next day in class and was still able to do the in-class assignments.

I had him for introduction to logic and intro to philosophy. Man is brighter than a light. One of the most helpful teachers, its a rigorous course, but I laugh at people who did not do well, when one they did not put the time and seeked help, I even set up times to meet him after class, when I struggled,Im not embarrassed to gethelp,I received a B.

The material in this class will fly right over your head for the first few weeks but if you take the time to read the book, you will understand it in no time. The prof. doesn't lecture much during class but he is very approachable and will help you with just about anything at any given time during and outside of class. Exams and quizzes aren't that difficult if you have a firm understanding of the subject matter. Logic is a great skill to learn as it will help you in your college and work life.

Fun teacher. He enjoys the subject, and it shows. The trick to this class is to show up every day. If you miss a class, you will be behind. His tests are hard, but if you do the work and ask questions then you will do fine.

Fun class, the subject itself is hard to teach but he tries his best. Not very clear when he explains the topic but overall I think this class was fun and the professor is rather easy going.

FUN class! Concepts are pretty tough to learn just by his lecture, however, if you copy the notes, you can pretty much teach yourself the actual concepts and do very well. The tests are very easy, and he is very lenient on gradeing. You can BS the assignments and get full credit, so long as you make sure you understand the material. TAKE THIS CLASS

This class is kind of tough. I had to work hard for the B I got in it. However, If you show up every day, do the homework, you will be fine. Epton is very helpful and you can approach him at anytime. Beware, DO NOT MISS A CLASS, you will be lost. He is also very easy going with his tests.

This class was a breeze...The material is kinda hard to understand but he always has inclass practice problems and hes very willing to help. Evening class is the best cuz when you finish the practice problems you can go home. There are 4 assignments each due before a test, and the final is just like a regular test! Pretty easy class

mr. epton's a very kind professor. the course itself is difficult, however i cannot imagine being taught by anyone else. he's willing to help you one and one, mr. epton always prepares his students for tests through group work and study guides. it's not an easy course, you'll need to stay awake and do your homework but he's a GREAT teacher.

Very tough class. Basically you're given all sorts of statements and you will need to symbolize and prove them. The teacher will help you if you ask but the material is just so confusing that his help doesn't work well. Nice teacher but isn't clear during lecture. In class assignments almost everyday.

Class can get a little boring at times. There are several long assignments but if you read the books and answer the questions, you'll do well. If you need help, he's willing to talk to you and give you advice. People who complain about the class are just lazy and not working hard enough.

Take this class if you have decent math skills, comprehend concepts quickly and enjoy not having to come to class. Grading and workload is a breeze. DO NOT take this class if you ever had trouble with algebra, have a short attention span or a recently had a full frontal lobotomy.

Interesting lectures, some "strange" ideas, but teaches material well. Not real difficult class. Some of the long "symbolic logic" can get messy (patience required).

First of all, I agree that the assignments are long, but they are not hard (just tedious) if you think logically (go figure). Besides, he grades you very easily on the assignments. I love programming, so I found most of the class very simple. If you take the time to read the book and ask him questions (yes he does answer), you should be fine.
