I loved professor Grossman. If you give him respect and visit office hours he will be on your side. He was older and not very tech savvy but he wasn't stupid. The class is difficult but I wouldn't have taken any other professor.

He wasn't screwing around when he told you that you should watch his online lectures as well as come to class. Sometimes a hardass but he was understanding. Very intelligent and wise.

Dr. Grossman reads straight from his PowerPoints during the lecture. His tests are straight from the notes and do not require you to think critically. Not a difficult class.

His lectures are very dry and he reads straight off the powerpoint. He posts all the powerpoints online so you don't really have to go to class; just read the lectures online. His tests are all multiple choice (no short answer or extended response), but they are extremely specific questions and very difficult. However, he does curve all the tests.

He's just really boring. He's a good teacher but it's hard to follow with his monotone voice that'll put you to sleep.

Grossman was an amazing professor. He definitely knows what he is talking about. A lot of people dropped the class because there are only 5 tests, so if you do poorly on one or two you're basically screwed. On the bright side, his tests are all multiple choice and he curves. Honestly an amazing professor and I learned so much from his class.

He is not a very involved teacher. How lectures are dry and boring. Prepare to teach yourself a huge quantity of information. On the bright side, the tests are purely multiple choice and he often curves them.

Grossman did not do much besides grade the exams and making me occasionally chuckle at his old-man jokes. You NEED to go to SI for this class as his lectures are quite useless. If you feel like you're not learning from your SI, attend another SI session. Devote one hour a day to Anatomy and just remember the exams are curved and you'll be fine.

He is a very tough professor and I did not like him at all. He never answered any questions. He was not very helpful either if you went to his office hours. He is boring and dull and I would not recommend taking him. The tests are very hard and there is no quizzes or homework given. If you want to pass this class, take a different professor.

Comment:
The book is nessecary to even get maybe a Mid level C. The tests are overly hard he does curve but THATS normally not enough to pass. The lectures are confusing and scattered. And the tests are nothing like them. If you don't go to SI everyday, and get extra help or read the chapter your doomed. Hardest class I've ever taken.

Grossman is very clear what he is going to put on the test. He gives you an outline of what he talked about in class which is basically the test. Haven't read the book yet and I have a B+ in the class. He curves all of his tests.

EASIEST B I'VE EVER RECEIVED. If I would have put as much effort in this class as others, I would have easily gotten an A. Everything is online: tests, group projects, homework assignments…. everything. If you're not interested in sciences and want a blow-off class, TAKE THIS CLASS. Space is usually limited so act quickly!

I've never had Prof G in class, but his online Biology class was pretty easy. Take notes and you should be fine to get a B. Study them a little..and you can probably do even better. His online assignments were easy and he always gives you a 100. The only thing that is actually graded are the multiple choice exams (4)

I had him for A&P. He curves so if you get above the class average then you are in good shape. However, he is an awful teacher. He does not teach you teach yourself. READ the textbook and you will do great on his tests. He reads directly off his slides and he will tell you he wont put something on the test, but he does! He is NOT a good teacher!

Professor Grossman is a little dull to listen to, but overall a good teacher for Anatomy! I took him both semesters and received good grades because I did what he recommended-- reading the text book and attending SI sessions. He also curves his exams, which helps!

Grossman is a good teacher. His lectures are kind of boring but he knows what he is talking about. He tests are not too bad if you study. He cracks jokes sometimes. I heard he's one of the easiest anatomy professors at XU. I would recommend him.

What I liked best about this class was that attendance was not mandatory. The wording of questions on tests was somewhat confusing, but usually the test material came straight off of the powerpoints. Group projects and group test questions. Interesting guest speakers, but normal lectures were somewhat dry. Wasn't great but could have been worse.

Just hearing this man's voice is enough to made me shudder. His class is the most monotone, repetitive lecture I have ever had to sit through. His tests usually don't follow his notes. He curves, but mostly to make up for his own ineptitude.Don't take this guy unless it's a non-major science. The only emotion shown is when he talks about manatees.

His tests don't really test you how well you know the material but instead how well you can eliminate the most wrong answer. His tests are multiple choice and he doesn't look over the test before he gives it to the students. Many times he had to tell us the answer because the question was not suppose to be on the test.

Immunology - VERY VERY hard tests! But curves, which is helpful. Part of the exam is group work which helps. Final is all group exam. Study the textbook like it's your job. Very interesting material though, and prof knows all. good luck
