worst professor I have ever had. his classes are boring and you end up not understanding anything . he has no respect for students time I bet he doesn't know anybody in his class. someone told me not to take the class and I did not listen. if you are reading this, drop it now and save your GPA

He told me I couldn't do limits without a calculator. First I thought he was kidding but he was serious. He also got mad because I used calculus to solve a problem in a pre-calculus course and got to the right answer. He was very disrespectful when I asked him how to use one of the functions on the calculator. Unprofessional

He'll rant about irrelevant subjects & will test on things he never taught. He's unprofessional & has been to class on time about 3 times. It is currently November. His ability to clearly explain concepts is nonexistent. In short, save yourself if you actually want to learn something of worth & avoid failure. Take a math class with someone else.

he talks about nonsense the entire class then gives you homework that has almost no relation to class. He does give you a long time to complete this math journal thing which is an easy A. BE WARNED you teach yourself! you either know it or you don't when the tests come. During spirt celebration you must attend class even if campus is closed. Bad!!!

He expects you to teach yourself and when you ask for help he is is usually reluctant. The online book is not helpful and during class all he gives out is worksheets. The excel homework is graded harshly and he doesn't give a rubric so you aren't sure of the guidelines. He is late to class most days and when he explains things they aren't clear.

David Berry, where do I begin? Very nice. Very funny. Very relaxed. Impossible grader. Tests are absolutely insane. He's a good guy and available for help, but the nit-pickiest grader I've ever had. Knows what he's talking about but has a problem communicating it to students.

Berry was very unprofessional in the classroom and only showed up on time for class three times. There was no direction given whatsoever and there would be things on the test that he did not cover in class. Although if you did go to his office hours he would explain the material in greater detail. Other than that the class was a big waste of time.

I had to take this for my major and definitely would not recommend taking him if you have the option not to. His level of thinking and understanding of the general subject is so high, but he cannot manage to communicate it at a level that we can understand. He is willing to see you in office hours, if you want, but still difficult to understand.

Dr. Berry is the hardest and worst math professor I have ever encountered in my entire life. He goes on rants about something that has nothing to with the material, nor does he figure to even relate it. He does not apply any of what we "learn" to anything. He has us grade our own homework based off his answers but it doesn't teach us anything :-(

This professor tends to go on long rants about topics unrelated to the subject matter of the class. He is an ambiguous grader. He wants people to write down exactly what he says in class and fails to talk about the topic. His tests are super difficult. He is a tough grader. He shows up late to class. You can skip a class and be fine honestly. You basically have to teach yourself anyway. He gave us online assignments. He's stories are funny but that's the problem. He's always talking about something other than actually teaching us. I went to his office hours and he told me I should know all of the stuff and was very unhelpful. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Dr. Berry is one of the most incompetent instructors I have ever had. I have been keeping track and he has only been on time to one class this entire semester and it is currently late October. One time he was twenty minutes late because he had fallen asleep in his office. He knows the subject well but has difficultly conveying it to his students.

Dr. Berry is a cool and nice guy. Rambles sometimes and ends up telling stories in the middle of class instead of teaching the material. Not really the best teacher, after receiving high C's on the first 2 tests had to self teach myself from all the homework assignments he has us print out and complete.
