Did not like his teaching style but I will never forget what he taught me. You must read the book and information posted on library recourse site to do well. I seriously believe he grading is biased. He seems to favor the blond students.

A lot of work for this course, but it was writing intensive. Easy to do well if you participate in class discussions. Tests were moderately difficult, but nothing that was unfair. He's known to be difficult at times, but you can learn A LOT from him if you put forth the effort.

Mr Hartmann was a fabulous teacher. One of the most memorable and enjoyable by far. He challenges students to think above and beyond just the textbook, and seriously has the students best interest at heart. I would take him again in a heartbeat.

He's a bad-ass! This is the greatest course offered in the business school. It's hard as hell, but it's a blast. It's great to have a teacher that engages his students like this. READ READ READ...If you don't read, shut the hell up!

He likes to argue. If you want to learn how to analyze topics and aren't afraid of being open-minded take this class. He teaches you how to defend your opinions which allows you to hear several from everyone in the class. Hard class, but I loved it!

Don't take this class unless you like to talk in front of people and argue. Teacher gets much enjoyment out of debating with the students. You have to get involved to get a good grade. Tests are very hard.

Totally enjoyed his class. His class plan is based on open discussion. It's difficult to figure out if he's arguing with you because he believes it, or just playing Devil's Advocate. I would take the class again!
