Nice guy, willing to help, etc. However, the tests are difficult, but only because there are questions on them that we never discussed. Our reviews wouldn't cover half the stuff on the actual test, so grades suffered because of that. But otherwise, I liked him as a professor.

I'll be honest. I was a terrible chemestry student. However, I loved being in Prof. Howes class! He is a first-class human being and educator. He did make the class fun and interesting. I have a lot of respect for him. I recommend him highly! Plus, he's a Red Sox fan, so he has to be great!

Dr. Howes, is a wonderful professor in and out of the classroom. He never stops teaching and goes out of his way to make you understand. Also, his humour may be quarky but it's none the less entertaining. Only thing he needs to improve on his the hair!

Dr. Howes is the smartest man alive. He is so funny. Not only did he teach us everything about Bio, but we learned all kinds of quarky facts. Take him for all the classes you can!
