This was the funniest teacher I ever had. I took an eight week class which was strenuous but he gave me the motivation to drive on. I almost dropped the class but ended up not because he showed me exactly how to do what he wanted in his speech and had a right one. Most teachers throw you to the wolves and expect you to just write a speech, not him.

Walton is one of the best Professors at the entire University, my fav! He cares, he is hilarious, and really knows what he is talking about. If you embrace the awkward then it will be the best experience. Test can be a little tricky, just read the questions, make sure you read the book. His class will change your life.! Learning is fun with Walton.

If you are nervous about taking speech like I was, he's great. Our speeches are not memorized, and he doesn't make you write out the entire thing. He usually aims for 4.5 speeches a semester (the .5 is a little introductory thing, you stand up in front of the class and talk about yourself). Also he sounds and kind of looks just like Sheldon Cooper.

Very inspired, very helpful. Always ready with a joke, and does a great job dealing with a couple annoying students in class that always butt in with an objection when he speaks. Takes a great amount of joy in declaring "I LOVE IT" when he hears something funny or interesting.

Dr. Walton is one of the best professors at Cameron, hands-down! I took his 8-week speech course over the summer and, while it is definitely intense, he ensures you have what you need to succeed.
