Dr. Jordan is a very nice instructor. He's Willing to help the students all the way and he does listen to students ' needs. Even though his lecture is off the topic from the book but if you really want to learn, he's a great professor since he doesn't bore u with stuff they teach u in the text already. His test is quite easy but a little bit long.

Brilliant, brilliant!! This guy was on a team that won the Nobel Prize! Unfortunately, this does not serve him well as a teacher. He is rather disorganized and generally teaches over the heads of most (should be teaching at PhD level), but is very nice and willing to help you understand, also very passionate about teaching and education in general!

After having this professor for three quarters I can say: as an instructor, he is horrrible. Absolutely nothing was gained from attending a lecture, and I was a good student. He is unclear and tangential in everything he attempts to explain. That said, he's a mellow guy with decently fair, tests. Study the book on your own and you will do well.

He is a really helpful teacher!!! Highly recommended!! Really helpful and understanding. Yeah a lot of times you have to stay in class for extra 5-10 minutes, but you will learn a lot!! If you really want to study PHYSICS, take his class!!

Lecture is completely pointless. he insists on using supplemetary materials which is too advanced for the class. this makes him a real bore and you can't help falling asleep in class. He goes overtime everyday and test questions very different than hw

I took him for 2 quaters and I learned nothing. What he could possibly do was to act as a entertainer, talking about unrelated issues. Testes weren't hard but lot of weird questions.Don't take him if you want to learn!!!

Possibly the worst teacher I have ever had. He is very disorganized, and is often late for class and lab. Lab always runs 1 to 3 hours late due to his lack of organization. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES!!!

Dr. Jordan is a very nice person though he doesn't teach very good and sometimes unclear,but he is really willing to teach. I am really weak at Physics since high school, and his class is the very first phy class I can get an "A".

Jordan provides a fun atmosphere. Sometimes his stories are a bit lengthy, but he gets excited so it makes it more interesting. If you don't mind staying late in class about ten to fifteen minutes per day, then Jordan's the teacher for you!
