LONG lectures but I loved our weekly discussions. It allowed us to be open about our feelings towards the subject. Their are FOUR exams within his course but they are all pretty simple. The essay questions are typically from a prior lecture he discussed to SAVE THEM.

I strongly recommend this professor, it is lecture style class, honestly I brought my laptop every class with a full charge and typed word for word what he said, I looked forward to all of his classes, and like everyone said the exams were to pick one of the 5 questions he gave you for the section and answer thoroughly, and 5 IDS, no surprises.

He gives lectures, be ready to write a lot of notes but he is an awesome teacher. The test is answer questions in paragraph form. Provides a study guide, you pick three questions from the study guide and one of them would be on the test. The final paper is given the first day of class and is due on the last day of class. I would take him again.

Best history course I've ever taken! Only work are weekly discussion questions and a couple of exams. No in person final! The exams are 1000 word essay that are answered in his lecture notes! Don't bother buying the book use google and you'll pass! This class made history tolerable for me and I hate history!

Graded discussions are due every week. Instead of the book I used google! The exams are 1000 word essays but summarize his notes and you'll do fine! Summer session is even easier! If you hate history take this class! If you take him online you won't regret it, I highly recommend this class!

Prof Mastrangelo has weekly discussions and 4 exams which each consist of an essay and 5 ID's of an event or person. Not difficult because they are open book, but need to be very thorough. He has an interesting way of presenting history, which is a lot of background. Lectures are word docs, plus text is a lot of reading. Text needed for exams

he is a funny guy, tells the story of history well. I've taken him for US1 and now US2, received a B in his first class and probably an A for his second. He organizes the class well, helps you when you ask for it, doesn't like when people are late or don't show up to class

Take is history class online during the summer if you need a Constitution requirement. SO easy!! Only two tests and online discussions. Super manageable, and he grades easy. Definitely not a stressful class if you're working a lot. Grading was very fair and made me feel confident about the subject. The only downside is there is A LOT of reading.

Lectures the whole class while you struggle to take notes as he speaks. If you aren't a fast writer note taker his class is not for you. Very clear about what will be on test but there is lots of information to be memorized .

Took this class online, lots of reading and LOTS of work. If you do the work and turn it in on time, you'll be fine. Fair with grades but exams are tough, he expects VERY thorough answers or he grades harshly. Gives feedback quickly and returns grades quick as well. Wish I had taken him on campus.

Ok, this guy is one of the best history professors at Massasoit. He is very fair at grading exam, and gives better grades if he sees you try. You have to study hard, by reading notes, reviewing five ID's a week, and you are fine for his exam. He gives extra credit to boost grade. He will pass you, if you try hard, and do the work.

I'mma gonna be real, I not only have absolute-zero interest in History, but I've actually never taken a history class without wanting to bash my head off the desk until I literally drop dead. But his class was fine. His interest was high. I don't like how a lot of the q's on his tests came from the book and not from the actual lecture though.

I took US history 1 on line. He put up notes each week and a question every week you had to respond tothe question. This was class participation. There was no response or in put at all from the teacher. Even if you asked questions or wanted clarification he did not respond. If you are comfortable with that kind of teaching you will have no problem

I took a history class online. I thought it would be terrible. I was wrong! It was a great class. He held weekly discussions that you had to answer and then answer someone else's. Other than that there's no homework until the test. There are 4 tests to make up the total grade. So no final and no midterm. Great teacher!
