Easy class. Don't take this class if you actually want to learn. He gets off topic very often. He went on for about an hour just explaining how he numbered pages. THE BOOK WAS NOT USED AT ALL, NOR WAS IT ANY HELP.

Easiest class i have ever taken. You dont have to go to class...just show up, get the handouts and leave. You can just go on the day the test is. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! I didnt open it once and i got an A in the class.

I've had Patten twice and he is a really nice prof. who truly cares about his students. Although his intro class moved a little slow his physical anthropology class was awesome and much more in-depth. Def recommend him

This class is relatively easy, but the man is extremely boring. He also cancels classes often, which is cool. To be honest though, I couldn't tell you anything I learned, which at the college level I don't think is good. If you're looking for an easy A, take him.
