Easiest class I have ever taken. Take home final and midterms. However I can honestly say I learned nothing from this class, because it is so easy to just slack off, not show up, and still get an A.

This biology course has all the lecture slides organized and posted to moodle so quick. He is really great about keeping the class intrigued and making things relevant. The exams were all online, lecture isn't mandatory but do attend so you have an idea of what's going on. Approachable and thorough when it comes to questions/discussions.

He is a good lecturer. I enjoyed lecture he is a fun guy that likes the subject. He is an easy grader who gives you a lot of resources. He lets you re do assignments for better grades and is very helpful if you email him. The midterms and final were take home which was great! Learned a lot without being stressed.

Charles is great. I chose to take his lecture because of how wonderful he was for Lab in 211. our class discussions sometimes went a bit off topic, and so we got behind a bit, but a very fun teacher.

Tight professor. used to be the head of the department, but wanted to teach again. easy to talk to, helpful, and teaches what the class is interested in, rather than getting through information. definitely take him if you get the chance

Dr. Welden is a great teacher. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't ask for anything more from a professor. Great teacher for people that have no science background or who are scared to take a science class. If he was grouchy 4-5 years ago he has certainly changed.

I loved having professor Welden for ES 102. He clearly knows about the subject and took us on interesting trips to work out in the field. I like how we had weekly online quizzes and how he posted his powerpoint notes online.

Had him with Dr. Oswald for ecology.(She's great)He was a very subjective grader.He was never available during his office hours and the few times he was he was rude.He had a very special way of making you feel like an idiot for asking questions. I don't recommend him if you are looking for an instructor to help you learn and move toward your goals.

Welden was a competent teacher who had well-organized lectures. His tests weren't incredibly hard but he did appear to use a test bank instead of creating his own questions. I would mildly recommend him. He is definitely better than many other teachers are but he's not the best.
