Dr. Wong is the first professor that I've had who makes so many attempts to ensure student comprehension. From well-structured notes, to help sessions, to e-mail Q&As it makes you think the guy has no life other than Chem 303. Also, anyone who's willing to rip off his shirt to expose another shirt that says "Just say NO" should get some mention.

He is a good prof....he sure loves his bunnies . He made enviro. chemisty easy to understand. His notes are clear and simple. It's true - go to the help sessions, it will help you ace those problem sets.

Dr Wong kicks ass! He's hilarious and makes environmental chem interesting. The problem sets are tricky but he's very willing to help with daily help sessions and email q&a. Plus, the exams are pretty much taken right from the problem sets so review them! I highly recommend this prof!

Dr. Wong is awesome. The reason he is getting a bad rating is because of # of first year chemistry courses he teaches. GO TO THE HELP SESSIONS, they are crucial for the problem sets. I have never had a professor so willing to help you outside class time. He really tries hard, and his bunny pictures and humor make up for his messy writing.

He surprisingly made everything make sense and really wanted all of us to do well. FOCUS on the problem sets and attend his office hours. Final was absolutely brutal, but it ended up not being so bad (marks wise).

Some of his jokes are lame, but it's worth it for the couple really funny things he does (ie. rip off his outer shirt to show a t-shirt that Do the problem sets and look at the practice midterms, the tests are pretty doable. If you go to his help sessions he'll tell you how to do the questions.

(Gotta love the comments for this guy...) His writing is horrible, he breezes through everything too fast, easy midterm, brutal final, and he likes to talk about himself quite a bit. Since it is chemistry, I didn't expect it to be terribly exciting, but this class was just something I could have lived without.

he's not as bad as what everyone says. his analogies don't really corroborate with what he's trying to explain, but it's kinda funny anyways

he's a little odd, acts like he hates the class half the time then asks you to apply for his research program. but his tests are brutally hard and he breezes through notes so fast which is stupid for a chem 101 course. try to get laura deakin she's great for first year.

ABORT!! I say this not because his lectures are boring (which they are - but it IS chemistry) but because his notes are useless, not only in any attempt to read but in regards to his megahard tests. Also very arrogant! :P

Wong's writing was terrible, you couldn't keep up with his notes, but if you printed off the powerpoint you'd fall asleep. His teaching style is not very good, and his tests are a little tricky.

Not as bad as everyone complains. He has messy writing but gives complete and thorough class notes that are available in many places. His final exam was brutal, but marked generously, quickly, and it doesn't matter because it's on the curve.

I was very unimpressed with wong. Had I known about this website earlier I would have dropped his class. His writing looks like chicken scratch. Apparentely the exams he gives are harder than any other section recieved. Drop!!
