Comment:

Dr. Hauselt is a good professor for someone who teaches a lecture hall full of 200 students. Not many professors are good at teaching larger groups. His class is straight forward and so are his exams as long as you study for them. The notes taken in class are not just what's on the Powerpoint slide, you actually have to listen to what he is saying.

Best professor I have ever had at SCSU. Really enjoyed going to his class everyday and he was really helpful. I had him for cognition and PSY stats. Excellent professor for both. is willing to help you after class and has open office hours. Looking to take another class from him again!

Easy class if you do all the work and study. Attendance isn't required but in order to do well you should go. There were chances for extra credit but were minor (like 2 extra pts on the next exam). The exams were all multiple choice, and class is always interesting. He is a great professor, and his grad assistants are too.

Dr. Hauselt is the best professor to teach at Southern! He makes lectures so fun and so interesting! If you take notes and study, his tests are easy! I definitely reccommend him!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! I might major in Psychology now because of him. He is such a nice guy and makes a class of over 200 kids very interesting! I really would recommend him. You won't regret it! The tests aren't that bad as long as you study! And he is really funny guy!

I love Dr. Hauselt. He is so funny that he keeps his lectures interesting. His notes are pretty straight foward. When it comes time to studying for an exam. That's all you'll need. Study the notes and you'll be ok. Yes, he does assign a 10 pg paper. That stinks, but it's probably still worth taking his class. He's awesome!

Before taking his class i hated psychology but now i am taking extra classes in it. He is a great teacher that knows how to make class enjoyable. Attendance isn't mandatory but he makes you want to go and the notes help you on the test. Everything is straight forward and he doesn't try to trick you. He is a great professor take his class.

he is an amazing teacher. explains things very well. is there to help you. doesnt try to trick you on the tests. keeps class interesting with clickers stories and puts his notes on powerpoint. i definitely recommend him. hes one of the best teachers ive had here.

The most laid back professor ever. It was a lecture, but not boring. Powerpoint notes. Attendance not mandatory, but you will get extra credit if you sign in. His voice sounds like Chandler from Friends. Real cool guy. Tests are all multiple choice and straight forward. Easy. Good class.. great professor. TAKE him.

my first lecture class. he's awesome. obviously u didnt have to go, but ended up curving grades if u signed in. had 4 multiple choice tests & everything was discussed in class. he tried hard to keep 200 students entertained in psych. his grad assistant was nasty tho, never talked to her but ppl would ask her questions & got smart allic responses.

EXCELLENT professor. Makes class interesting with videos, clickers, tells stories, asks questions... Very easy, but you'll learn a lot. Tests are 50 multiple choice questions. No essays. Class isn't exactly mandatory, but it's very worth going to. Professor is helpful outside of class, and very fair. Highly recommended!!

really nice. notes were on the screen and basically if you studied the notes for the test you were fine. barely ever used the book. have to do 2 credits worth of case studies but it counts as a test grade so as long as you get the credits its like having a 100 on a test.

This professor was one of the best i have had at southern. He marks essay questions right even if they are not 100% correct. His paper is easy if you choose a good topic. His lectures are very clear- he has points on a projecter and then explains them in great detail... you will always know what will be on the test.

Professor Hauselt was a really good teacher, it was my first time takin college psychology and it was so easy, we took notes in class that was on a screen so you dont have to worry about taking notes by yourself. He was really helpful if you needed help and in the end of the semester he counted attendance to boost your final grade in his class.
