I am one of his nieces in Virginia. He was my father's brother. I naturally felt the need to google him after he past last week and found this site. Although haven't seen him in 15 years we wrote during Christmas. Whoever wrote the 2/2/08 note I will miss him too.

"Rowski Dangerfield" is an awesome teacher. Rarely seen without his robe and a cigar, and tells great stories about his material. He really knows his stuff. Accepts late assignments without docking points. That said, biggest advice: DON'T skip class. You'll never catch up. If you go to class, you'll do fine, even if you skimp on homework.

this guy is crazy. very fun but i find him hard to follow. the last exam was insanely difficult... we are praying for a curve... please curve? i found it better to just read the textbook to learn... very nice TA though... love her. Very helpful assignments although difficult. take the class if you like learning hard languages.

I think that Professor Zabrowski is great! He is so smart and so interesting. He's like an encyclopedia with a New York accent. Very amusing and intelligent. I love taking classes with him. He's great!
