Jane is a nice person, very knowledgable and highly educated, BUT this class is extremely difficult! I have straight A's in all my classes, and I barely passed this class with a C.. Exams are super long and very tricky, other instructors are easier.

A supper hard class, and Jane does not make it any easier. she expects students to know the material before lecturing. exams are extremely difficult and tricky. I highly recommend taking this class on line.

Difficult, difficult class, but I am very glad I took Jane. Like every other law class, must spend MANY hours a week reading, as she gives random pop quizzes worth 20 pts. 4 exams at 100 pts. If you are a good student, use the study workbook, and can dedicate a lot of time to studying, you will surely pass! Amazing professor, learned so much!

This teacher is worth your time and money if you're looking to learn. The course is indeed difficult in the sense that there is a lot of reading, and many points! 4 exams - 100 pts each, and random chapter quizzes worth 20 pts each. MAKE SURE YOU READ! Worst professor I've ever had. Tests are 100 questions and consist of about 50 true and false questions and the other half are multiple choice. She doesn't go in depth with material and expects you to know everything before class. She kicked out the whole class the beginning 10 mins of the lecture because we were not "prepared enough".

Such an amazing professor! Loved the class. I learned so much from this class. Jane is an amazing teacher, and a great woman! She is willing to help, keeps the class interesting, and is extremely knowledgable! Stronly recommend. Would take this class over and over again!

Jane acts like she is helpful, and to some extent she is. However, if you need help, ask her during class. Im more of an email person, but her answers are vague and she tends to forget to answer a specific question in email if you have multiple questions for her. READ THE TEXT BEFORE CLASS OR FAIL

LOVE her class! The course is tough and reading the text is a MUST, but she will answer every question you have until you fully understand. Super sweet lady and wants everyone to pass, but she does give out treats (pop quizzes) from time to time, so make sure you've read the chapter assigned.

I tooke Mrs. Bennett "Business law" class in the late 90's. Dear God, hard class. I'm a genius but I have ADD. I went to all of her lectures for my class but also for the second class she taught as well. Still got a B. 12 years later, I own a small business and employ 4 people. To this day I can say I do apply some things I learned from her.Legend.

This is a very challenging class. I had to bust my ass to get a B in her class. There were only 2 A's in my class. You have to read the book. The study guide is very useful. Exam ?'s can be vague at times and will throw you off. If you don't like reading and studying, do not take this class. You will fail.

Ms Bennett is surely a great choice for Business Law class. She explains everything clearly and thoroughly. She always gives easy-to-understand examples to clarify complicated law. You just HAVE TO READ the textbook before class and SUMMARIZE the cases. By that way, you will do well in her class. By the way, she never gives extra credit.

Class is not easy, lots of reading and use of textbook which is a bit expensive. She doesn't give extra credit but does drops the lowest teat score. She's helpful and nice but I don't recommend this class for people that laze around too much

I took this course over the summer. This class is hard for international students. You must read the textbook and do the study guide. 4 Tests were 100 questions (multiple choice and T & F). Less than 5 students got an A in this class. Most students were getting B, C, or D. But I should say prof. Bennet is a great teacher!

She is an amazing teacher. But a tip is to purchase the Study Guide because she said if you want to get an A, B, or C in the class, you have to have it--and she was right. At the end of each chapter in the study guide are 20 questions and many of those exact questions are on the EXAM so purchase the STUDY GUIDE !! Good luck.

totally must read the book and suggested to bring it to class each time. is a class where if you read the book and take good notes, will do well on 100 question tests and quizzes. so have to purchase the textbook & it is really expensive, so i would buy it on Craigslist.com for a cheap price.

You must read the book to do well in the class but it's not hard. Break it up though, because the book can get pretty boring. Do the online practice quizzes if nothing else. She goes over everything in class as well and will answer any questions you have. Great class.
