In class lecture doesn't have much to do with tests. Takes role 1/2 the time, you'll never know when. Tests are VERY difficult, time limited, and on camera.

To be honest, he is a great human being. But his teaching style may not be for everyone. I decided to retake Conditioning and learning but this time with him, since I had failed with Heidi. His teaching style is very specific, so you have to keep up with the readings and lectures. His tests require lockdown browser plus webcam and they are timed.

Not a bad professor once you learn his tendencies. The lectures for this course were pretty dry, but he adds to it because he is funny. The lectures were mostly irrelevent to the tests, which were all online. Read the book, most test answers come directly from there. The class is based off of only test scores, but do the readings and you'll be fine

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR!!!!!! If you have the ability to, DO NOT take a class with this man. I did fine in the class so I am not leaving a review based on failing. I took his PSYCH 305 class online and it is just exam based. You get barely enough time to finish it and he has NO input to the course. Terrible professor and not worth tax payers money.

I graduated from EWU 10 years ago, and my neighbor is thinking about going to EWU so we started talking about professors. Upon reflection, Professor Cleanthous is the one professor that comes to mind that I really enjoyed. I learned a lot from him, and he was one of the very few professors whose lectures I thoroughly enjoyed.

This class is a mess. The format of this class is all exam based. Exams are online, 60 questions, 90 minutes, using Respondus. Not too bad. Except that the actual lectures are long. He lectures way too fast to be able to take notes. He gives an outline of his ppts online but they are still not helpful. Not liking this class so far.

He is not a good professor. Skis through power points before you have time to read them. He makes stupid jokes all the time. Currently taking him and he makes me want to change my major. He Flys through the material, and is just a horrible professor. NEVER have I disliked a professor this much!

This online class was exams only. Read the textbook, it is ESSENTIAL. Watch the lectures too. Be prepared to read read read cover to cover. Good thing is there's no papers. Tests are 60 questions 90 minutes.

Get to know Charlie and you will not want to take a class from anyone else. He becomes like a good friend, who knows alot and is your teacher. Average of 6 tests per quarter, maybe a paper. Hes a easy grader on the paper, and the test answers are in order from chapter to chapter in the book. Also writes great lettrs of rec. My number one fav at ewu

Because of Charlie I changed my major. I just could not face ever having to take another class with him and would avoid him at any and all cost. He changes assignments as you are presenting them and generally just sucks as a teacher. Do not take for anything.

This is by far the worst grade I'll have received in my entire undergraduate history. I hope he curves the exams because he hides the answers from us and obviously contradicts himself, considering all the answers are in the book and the class has a 47/60 average! No bueno!

REALLY annoying how he would promise to give us points on the test where the questions was unclear and then never did. So disorganized. Pointless to go to class when the tests have all the questions in order according to the book from chapter 1 to 16.

Charlie makes a lot of jokes in class and I am glad he does, because if you take life too seriously you will never get out alive. He makes learning interesting and keeps you thinking. He was told 3 days before the quarter started that he would need to teach the class and he did an awesome job. He cares for his students and wants them to succeed.

Very disorganized. Thinks he's a comedian-not. Has his favorites. Never answers e-mail. On-line tests are a joke,he forgets to put them up,& when he puts them up, they're filled with errors. Awful instructor!
