Discussions in-class and note taking is necessary to pass, rarely use the book! Get your book from Amazon for super cheap or don't buy it, He is very willing to help and very lenient, very willing to work with.

Like most others, his class is cut and dry. If you like politics, you'll like his classes. Some days class gets hi-jacked with current events discussion, when class is in session it's traditional lecture that's well structured and easy to follow. Have taken for 5 semesters, will continue to take

I had him for Gov. It's a boring subject, so class was boring but I'm sure he'd be more interesting in a different class. You can tell he is actually interested in what he teaches and enjoys it. He has no attendance policy. He doesn't care if you come. Our Gov tests were online w/ 50 ?s we and had 2 or 3 days to get to them.

I've had Peaden for two classes so far. People who complain about him being boring must have just taken gov. for a gen ed. If you're majoring in Polisci, look forward to Peaden. He pushes you to think out of the box, and you will learn a lot.

Great Professor. He likes classroom discussions, and allows everyone to speak their own mind. Your grades do not drop if you don't agree with him. Fun class, tests require that you study. Take notes in class, keep active in the class discussions and study and you should get a good grade.

His class is so incredibly boring. If you can stare at someone for an hour and listen to his personal look on politics, then go for his class but I would rather shoot myself in the face then go to this class. He doesn't take attendance and puts the notes online so it's incredibly hard to go in the first place. He's nice though. Just so boring.

Dr. Peaden's gov class is ok. I would recommend Pappas though. Peaden is easy on the eyes, but his class is pretty boring. I agree with him politically for the most part. He's nice.
