Charlotte is hilarious! If you get stage freight, dont worry she makes you feel comfortable! I honestly making speeches but this class made it easy and fun! Charlotte also gives great feedbacks and shell give you great advices to help you improve your speeches!

Charlotte's lectures were straightforward and funny. As long as you do the extra readings on her website, work on your group presentations, and come to class every day you can easily get an A. However, she does tend to make mistakes when she is grading. A lot of the time you get marked down for things you actually did do during your presentation.

I'd make the argument any day that Charlotte is the best professor overall at Cabrillo, not just the best in the Communications department. A funny, spunky professor who truly loves all of her students. Not only does she have an encyclopedic knowledge of how to be a better communicator, but she's an excellent teacher at it. TAKE HER!! SERIOUSLY!!!

Love Love Love Charlotte! Funny and clear with lectures. Basically no homework and the final Food Feast was so much fun (and wonderfully easy). She's really passionate and will help students out. Only thing is tests are tricky to study for and more than one answer can be correct.

She is the best teacher I've EVER had. All her notes are straight forward and simple. Her tests are challenging but she she allows one retake. So don't worry about failing her class. Her Homework is not clear but she isn't a tuff grader. If you are going to take Comm12 definitely take her. You will learn a lot. Taking this teacher is a MUST. A+++

Her teaching style is pretty straight forward and I actually enjoyed her class, but she made mistakes on more than one person's grade and she took a month to change them-this put us through a huge struggle to finish our SJSU applications--people make mistakes, but with no apology, and a claim that the delay won't effect my application was hurtful.

Charolette is an amazing teacher. She cracks jokes and makes lectures fun. Her notes are amazingly clear and are available online. There was virtually no homework except preparing your speech. I only had to give 3 speechs in front of the class, and her feedback heped me grow. She adequitely sets up the entire class to get an A, just show up!

Class is really easy. The assignments are unclear but you re-submit any low grade assignments. Watched filmsvideos most of the time. Some lecture at the beginning of class. Food feast for a final (Big Thumbs Up)! Easy ClassEasy A. You should take her class. Her teaching style is not my style, but you will enjoy the class. She is really funny tho!

Charlotte understands that many students are terrified of public speaking, so she does a lot to make it less scary--like teaching how to overcome speech anxiety. She gives very specific grading criteria. You get your grade the day of the speech. She's calm and funny. I hated public speaking before this, but she made it bearable; I learned a lot.

Speeches: Interview partner(1st Day), Instructional, rant, rave, & demonstrative. She gives a fun/interesting lecture & the out of class work is minimal and easy. Charlotte is AMAZING. I was dreading taking this class at the beginning, but this quickly became my favorite class. Charlotte is incredibly entertaining and funny and really knows what she is talking about. Yes, you have to do speeches, but Charlotte makes it fun and gives excellent feedback on what to work on. You will not regret taking this class

This was my funnest class of the semester! Public speaking may be scary but not in this class. Charlotte makes it so comfortable and eases you into it. Only 5 speeches and you're done. easiest/funnest class ever! Also no textbook is required. You'll get food along the way and learn a lot of things that will make you a better speaker and writer. FUN
