Good teacher, BETTER THAN SHIELDS, but she is retiring after Spring 2014. Tough class (I hate ACC) but she is extremely helpful!! I'm a straight A student and I failed her first exam so make sure you know the ins and outs of everything she covers.

Don't waste your time with this class. You will be better off teaching yourself what you need to know for a CPA. The professor made it more difficult and confusing than it needed to be. Modifications to the text, the reading guides and all the mistakes she made, made it a mess! You'll need to hire an expert to get through the class.

teachers like these make me want to pull an "into the wild" God have mercy on me if it's still just her and one other monotone empty personified professor teaching it like last year. God help me keep my sanity.

I understand why most complain. She does forget a lot of info. that is needed to be successful. On the other hand, students need to take the bull by the horns and be in control of their own success. class SHB an easy A, so I had to work a little harder to get an A, but did. Ask questions b/c she WILL help! USE her outlines to study alot for exams.

class consisted of her making announcements for 15 mins, writing another 15 mins worth of notes and passes out 2 hours worth of work in the last half hour and says here, pass this in by the end of class. book sucked as well, very few or no examples. thank god im not an accounting major, waste of my time...and shes the only one who teaches it.

This class is easy except that the exams are hard. The exams are hardly doable in the allotted time. There is a quiz every week that you can use one page of notes on. She is helpful and a nice lady, but I don't feel like I am learning anything.

Professor Pryor is willing to help you with any questions you may have, she won't necessarily give you the answer because she expects you to do the work. Workload is average with heavy reliance on book, but she gives you handouts of all the most important information in class. Overall a good class.

Arrogant Professor and plays favorites. She forgets this is mainly a University where the majority of students are already working and have to miss class sometimes. This does not matter to her. She, like the majority of Prof. at USM take offense instead of attempt to understand student's situations. Moody and can be nasty to boot.

Worries about little things such as people looking at e-mail in lab. I am grown up and I pay for the course as long as I am not disrupting other students, it should not matter. Not clear in her assignments in QB, she adds multiple changes which makes it confusing. Does not seem like she prepared much for this semester.

She types up all of the important facts from the book that she wants you to study and then you can use them in class to take notes on. I found her to be very helpful and the amount of preparation that she puts into the online resources is great. There is a quiz do every week, but it's online and open book. You can then use it to study for exams.

This is not an easy class but Prof Pryor is very willing to help you if you ask. If you work hard and pay attention in class you will do well. She can be kinda picky when grading so make sure you pay attention to directions and thoroughly complete the assignments.

exam and quizes were very unclear. I felt as though I had to guess as to what was being asked. Projects were not returned in time for review. 1 Project took about 5-6 weeks to get back, then the next class was the final. Her grading was fair. I often felt that the classes were not worth attendi

She is nice and helpful, although her class does move a little too fast, and her test questions as well as quiz questions tend to be tricky.

Comment:
The concepts in this class are very DIFFICULT to grasp because it is so fast-paced. Quizzes are given on new reading material BEFORE the instructor has explained the concepts. I found it hard to be quizzed on material that I've read but might not yet understand until the teacher has reviewed it.
