I took her for SUMII (an 8am class)it was worth waking up early for. I HIGHLY recommend her for the summer. All I did was type memos and proposals the whole time. This class is sooo easy you cant make less than a 'B' in this class. Add her to your schedule if you want a good grade. Rules; come to class, do all assignments, and thats it! You passed!

This is one of the easiest class I've had. Prof. Smith is a nice teacher, she won't mind even if you turn in assignments a day or two late. You can make corrections and resubmit graded assignemnts for better grades. Moreover, you get to work on them during class time. You are basically guaranteed an A if you can write decently and grammar-free.

This class is so easy. But her grading still is not good. Out of all the paper I wrote she give me only one A. My last for paper had the same grade and i turn all paper on time and my friend made more A's then me ever when she was late.

She is soo nice, funny, with a good sense of humor. I loved her class. I am international student and i dont know how to write very good. But i still got a B. She is very helpful. Her syllabus looked tough but mold it to easy. TAKE HER !

Great Prof, she has a tough syllabus but does not complies to it, gives students way too many chances to make an A. You have to be one of those seniors who cant write a proper sentence to save your life to fail this class. Yes I mean it, SHE IS GREAT.

Nice also lenient teacher. Not very challenging but understands that students life's do not revolve around a literature class. Test are from short stories that are read throughout the semester. 2 tests midterm and final. 2 short papers and 1 term paper. Also, a whole bunch of one-page responses from stories. Sounds like alot of work but easy.

Took this class summer 1 of 2005. Smith is very interesting, assignments are VERY easy. Want an easy "A" I recommend her. If you get below a B it was maybe because you didnt do your work. I would recommend her to any student.

This class is an "unstressful" "A." You'll learn 1. author's perspective, hidden messages, and themes, within the literature. I hated reading before, now I love it. Smith is Socratic in teaching, we tell her what we think. Missing hurts cuz she gives clues for tests thorughout,and no reviews.
