I had Stockwell for my Into to Drawing Still Life. The class is great and he was very helpful in getting you to explore the way you draw. No experience required - he will teach you all you need to know! Stockwell is also a recognized artist. You will visit his studio in Keene - what a place! A few light reading books and mostly graded on drawings.

Comment:

Craig is a wonderful teacher. At first he was a bit intimidating but then once he gets to know your work, you really start to see that he's a really great person who just wants you to excell in drawing. I've learned so much in his class! I can draw better now than ever before. Attendance is mandatory and he is definitely not an easy grader!

Great drawing prof. A lot of work, but very helpful. Covers all aspects of drawing, and his criticism is in a very constructive tone. Always picks out good qualities of your work and makes great suggestions to make it even better. Had NO idea I could draw as well as I can now because of his course!

Tough class that requires a lot of time in and out of class, but a very good professor who encourages his students. My drawing skills improved a ton over the semester. Definitely one of the better art professors at KSC
