Chers online Tech&Soc class leaves a lot to be desired. Its disorganized and requires you to join a Facebook group for weekly assignments. Tests have misspellings with vauge answers. Shes more focused on teaching about fake news and global warming than actual technological advances in society. Grades havent been entered in weeks. AVOID

She treats beginners like they should be professionals and her critique days are more like tear your work apart days. Ill be the first to admit Im not that great at photoshop, but I gave it my all and would spend 50+ hours on her projects and I still got failing grades.

Cher is a very hard professor to please, she makes you work hard. I learned so much, however, from the two classes I took from her than from all of my other classes combined. A few things to note: be diplomatic when you address her, don't take any of her harsh words personally, and spend lots of time on your homework. She rewards good work.

Biggest waste of time. This was supposed to be an advanced raster class, and she devoted 75% of the class to photography (a skill not typically required to be a graphic designer). Taught us nothing that advanced students don't already know. Final project (which determined overall grade) was a group project, in a class full of seniors. Get real.

The best teacher I've ever had. Really interested in us doing well. gives hard critiques, but lets us correct our work. She really helped me understand what I needed to do to improve which a lot of professors don't. I almost dropped out of digital media because I wasn't good enough but she encouraged me to stay and now I'm doing really well.

She always misses class. I pay $400.00 a semester for one of these classes and expect to learn and for the teaher to attend. Gave way too many assignments and not enough time to finish them and the major assignments. We are begginers and she graded us as proffessionals. She is NOT good understanding levels students are at. You will go insane.

Don't think some us realize how much effort Cher has put into this program.Digital media was the worst in the area and in danger of being cut before Cher came to this school. Now, it is one of the best around..Keep that in mind
