Comment:

Most unorganized professor I have ever had. Makes it so much harder than it needs to be to understand assignment criteria, where to find assignments, etc. And honestly, Cherie was really rude with snarky and sarcastic comments if you would email her asking for help. This class was more of a hassle and didn't teach me anything about writing essays.

Dargan is messy, you will have to look at the paper course packet to find the requirements she wants in regards to the essays since she often goes on a limb expecting your essays to be extended in some way. There will be little to no freedom on choosing your own essay topics. The theme of the course is texting/problems of technology.

Very confusing at first since she has way too many folders on Angel. Took me about a month and a half until I was able to figure out where stuff was. A good professor though. I didn't like the fact that you never knew what your grade was until she sent "snap shots" of your grade periodically. Interesting paper topics though!

Very unorganized. Assignment instructions are scattered between different folders, emails, a video lesson on a separate website and a paper packet. Assigned group project in an online class which was a disaster. Seemed willing to help at first, but when I came to her I was accused of ignoring emails I hadn't received. Too much going on at one time.

Good teacher, poor organization. She is a very active professor but the way she organizes the course and the explanations of some assignments can get very confusing. She is a good teacher, just prepare yourself to reorganize her disorganization. I would take her again as she communicates and the class is fairly easy once you figure it out.

Cherie is a great teacher. Her online class is hard to follow at first and does take time to figure out. There is not that much homework and that papers you write for her are interesting for the most part. She is really willing to help if you have problems.

WOW! A lot of work! We had at least 3 group assignments, peer editing, papers, etc.. I had a hard time keeping track of everything! It probably took me halfway through the semester to be organized -- but she's a very nice lady who was always willing to help with whatever question I had! AND let us revise papers after they were turned in.

YOU MUST BE ORGANIZED TO TAKE ONLINE. Takes about a month to get used to the unorganization. She is a nice teacher, and wants the best, but I think the way things are organized is really hard to understand. You never know whats due when, and by the time you find out its often too late. I wouldn't take her online, but I would in person. 6/10

I took Comp II online with her and it was really confusing at first, but she is amazing if you e-mail her with any questions. Kind of a hard grader on the papers, but theres plenty of other oppertunitues to make up the grade. She's super nice and helpful with any questions...just get to know her a little and you'll do great :) Loved her class

Do you like to do a lot of work? Take this class and no others because you will be working your butt off. I thought that composition classes were about writing,not a million worksheets totaling in 1600 POINTS! I did not care for this teacher, she was very un-willing to help, even a girl who was pregnant!!I would NOT recommend this teacher to anyone

Very good teacher but a lot of group work. you can't fall behind. I did and I dropped. If you go talk to her she is very helpful. Her class consists of a lot of busy work and you have like 10 assignments at the same time and never know exactally how to do them or when they are due. Nice lady but confusing class.
