This guy likes physics a lot, just has no idea how to explain himself at a lower level. I think he'll be more organized next time around, as this is his first time teaching this class. He just starts rambling and you have no idea! I passed the class with the curve.

Highly ineffective. Doesn't know how to help students or explain physics at all. Best to sit in class and read the book and ignore everything else going on. If you havent taken physics before, you will find this class almost impossible.

Very bad teacher. Has no idea how to teach. Knows what he is talking about but just cannot teach period. too high expectations for an gn ed class. Quizzes are very hard. big time curve. does not let out early. At all costs do not take him. prepared his course for upper level physics.

Berman is a smart guy, but he can't teach. I have come to him several times with questions and he shows no concern that I am lost in his class. He never gets back to me either. I don't think he understands that this is an introductory class and some people have never had physics experience before
