I would never recommend this teacher. Ya she is a super sweet lady but that doesnt make her a good teacher. I have never had a problem in math and this is the first class i ever had to drop. The tests are nothing like the HW or what goes on in class(actually class is slow so nothing goes on in class). I even had a tutor and still failed.....

I think she understands logic very well and articulates this knowledge competently in lectures. Sometimes boring, but that is how I feel about logic/math related subjects, so it is biased. Her tests can be difficult, but if you study and listen to lectures, you can manage a B like me.

May goes way too slow for my taste and I grow extremely bored during lecture because she is so redundant. She needs to speed things up a little bit. The tests are all mult choice and quizzes are all out of 10 pts, written response. I hated this class because we always left about 5 mins late and she is soooo slow.

As long as you focus and read, you'll do fine. The tests are a bit confusing at times, but it's just like the problems in the book. She's super nice. But, if you do actually read the homework (and do some), you'll be bored in class. I watched the lessons on the cd and come for tests only, and got an A...otherwise, you'll get bored and irritated.

Dr.May is a great lady, but she is difficult to understand. She is a female Nutty Prof.-scattered at times. Tests are hard, but are multiple chioce. Drops the lowest avg. and will help you pass if you try. Collects no hmwrk-gives many quizes. Great Person!

Trig i dont think is an easy subject, but i dont think she could of made it any easier which is why she gets 5. Very good teacher, too bad she is only part time and doesnt teach all math classes. Very good at wording difficult things and very fair.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS BECAUSE YOU THINK IT'S GOING TO BE AN EASY WAY TO GET A MATH CREDIT, YOU ARE VERY WRONG. The teacher is great, she's really helpful and her lessons make sense. Her test are hard and she does not grade anything but tests.
