Comment:

Disorganized prof who prioritizes her research over classes. Cancels/delays class right before class should start - she cancelled from day 1. Not having class for weeks at a time gets frustrating when you cant get ahold of your own professor. When she shows up, its a waste of time. If you actually want to learn about health psyc take someone else.

Comment:

She is very nice, but we did not have a single class for about 3 weeks at one point. Then she assigned up a health fair project and was 3 hours late to her own health fair. The tests are online and you can use quizlet to look up all the answers, so it is an easy A, but you definitely have to have patience.

This lady is nuts. She cancels class every other day, when we do have class she lectures with powerpoints and goes on tangents. The online tests arent too hard but she added a huge project and we had to put on an entire health fair on a Saturday. It was hard to prepare because we never had class to meet w group!!!!

Dr. Armstead is cares about her students. She knows alot more than many of the professors about how to teach. I wish she did not have so many other things to do. I would definitely take her again.

Comment:

Dr. Armstead is so funny and sweet but MAN, she drives me crazy. Very disorganized and constantly cancelling class and sending lots of last minute, confusing emails. Her classes are an easy A but sometimes it's not even worth all the stress she puts you through if you care about your grade/the content. Enjoyable person, frustrating professor.

If Dr. Armstead shows up to class, her lectures are fantastic. She's absolutely hilarious. Too bad she missed 80% of our classes. She also doesn't tell you she's canceling until 10 minutes past class start time. She gives multiple choice exams on BB which are quite easy.

Comment:

Cancelled over 50% of classes during the semester. When I went to class I wish I hadn't. Doesn't take attendance and lectures are excruciatingly boring. Tests answers can be found online or straight from the textbook, lectures and notes are useless. I hate that I paid money for this class, it was the biggest waste.

Like most other people have said... Dr. Armstead is scatterbrained and does cancel class often. But she is really smart and caring. She can be frustrating at times to connect with, but will always give you extra credit surveys and does anything to help you pass. But you won't need to help to pass. Super easy class and definitely and easy A.

Dr. Armstead is incredibly laid-back. She cancelled class about half of the time, and we only took a few tests and quizzes which were all multiple choice assignments on Blackboard- very easy to look up the answers. She's a great professor if you have no interest in the subject and want a free A, but pretty bad if you actually want to learn.

Usually I don't give 2 craps when professors cancel class but she has cancelled for the past 3 weeks within 5-10 minutes of class starting. At that point we are literally all on campus. But its a joke of a class and you gotta be dumber than a bag of bricks to not get an A.

Dr. Armstead is a WONDERFUL professor. She really knows her material. At times a bit disorganized, but that still did not affect her teaching. She is so sweet, talk to her after class or during her office hours, you will love her. The tests are from her lecture, so attend class. TAKE HER, point blank.

She has too many research project going on. Dr. Armstead is an good teacher, but is not organized. I learned a lot in the class, although there were a group of women who sat in the middle of class and complained about everything they could think of. I am sick of seeing discrimination among other students. She is really nice.

great professor. she is extremely understanding and helpful. Although many of her lectures are not interesting, this woman knows her stuff. participation plays a part in your grade. If you will TALK TO HER & ask her questions (after class or during)SHE WILL HELP!Don't be a student that just attends class and leaves.

This class is amazingly easy, I highly recommend taking it. All the tests are online and the answers are straight from the textbook, which I highly recommend buying. Show up to class once a month to figure out when the tests are due, and you'll get an easy A.

Comment:

She will give you a syllabus that has dates on it from three years ago and tell you to guesstimate. All tests are online and quite frankly I don't think she wants to teach it in person. She sucks at responding to email so don't bother. Very easy class, but the stress over her lack of organization makes it almost not worth taking.
