AVOID. Do not take her online COM 260 class. She is horrible at giving directions and is very rude when asked for feedback. I received an A in the class, but would never recommend her as a professor. Knows what she is talking about as far as content, but definitely does not understand how to teach.

Good professor! Very laid back and easy to talk to. The class is assignment-based and there are no exams. Assignments are very straight forward as long as you follow along with the lecture slides in class. Never opened the required texts and got an A.

Dr. Bracken is a great teacher, and loves the subject matter. If you go to class, and engage in the topics, you will do well. She is not very organized and you do have to bear with her along those lines. But if you need help, she will help you. The book was NEVER opened and I got an A.

Do not bother taking her classes. Very unclear about notes and directions and all we ever did was talk about facbook and texting and social media. Waste of time. Assignments seemd easy but grading was harsh, as I got As on the midterm and final and a B on the only class project and somehow ended up with a B minus

She is very nice person but she is a total loon. She never was prepared and canceled class without notice. The class is difficult because you have to teach yourself without any resource, as she doesn't use the text book.

Mrs Bracken is not scatter brained at all. People who complain about stuff being on the test that is not on the study guide is hilarious. You have to come to class every day and take notes and also read the book,and listen to her notes. You just can't study a couple of power points and expect to pass. A great teacher and she cares about students.

Really disorganized! And very borring sometimes. Makes you think like everything it's very easy and gives you study guid but when the test comes half of stuff wasn't on the study guide and test turns out to be much harder then you would expected. Woudnt recomend her, waste of time and didn't get any knowledge in the subject area.

Overall, an easy class and subject matter. However, she was late a lot to class, when she finally arrived it took her a while to focus(it was in the a.m.). She was very scattered brain and easily distracted. Ok for an 'A' but wouldn't take again.
