DO NOT take her. She is so rude and acts like you do not have a life outside of your class work. She grades super hard, and emails like 10 times a week. Would say she needs to go to some therapy to talk things out and not take it out on us. lol But worst professor ever.

She's amazing; she's tough but she cares and you can always go to her office hours for help. Her exams really throw you for a loop so make sure you study hard and know your stuff. She gives a little bit of extra credit and you'll almost always have homework. The textbook isn't completely important since very few homework assignments are from there.

Be prepared to put in a lot of work every week! I felt Professor Snyder's class was very challenging. Myself, as well as other students in the class felt like many assignments were unrelated to the materials assigned for the week. She is a tough grader. She does respond to emails fast and she grades assignments very quickly.

An excellent chemistry teacher. Shes tough up front but really cares and will help you succeed if you put in the work. You will need lots of time to study for exams. Pay attention in lecture.

I am taking prof Snyders right now and I regret taking her. she talks for two hours straight and uses terminology that no one really understands. She doesnt even give us reviews before the test so you better start teaching yourself Bc if you rely on her youll lose your mind. Do not take her. I cant wait to be done with her

Best chem professor at school craft for genchem1. Very help full and fair at grading. People that give a bad review probably did not put in any effort to the class. I didnt have a chem class for 4 years prior to this and i did fairly well. labs are long, test are kinda hard, average HW, and extra credit. Makes class fun, and interesting. TAKE HER.

Professor Snyder is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. She is very responsive to questions and emails. Her exams are extremely difficult and confusing. However, with this class the exams are only 55% of the grade. You will not want to miss her lectures and take lots of notes!

Professor Snyder is great and truly cares about her students. She really knows what she's talking about and will give you as much extra help as she can. Don't miss class or lab or you will be back-tracking all semester. Tests are hard but as long as you show up to lab and have a good understanding of material you will get easy lab points. A+

You will be required to earn your grade in class. Tests are difficult but CHEM is difficult. Drops lowest TEST grade which can save you greatly. Don't miss lab or lecture or you will be forever playing catch up. Comes off mean but she does actual care, go to office hours she is very helpful. Go to PAL sessions if she has one they are great.

I took this class fall 2015. Professor Snyder is really passionate about chemistry and wants you to really understand the material. Great at explaining everything, but exams are very tough. Also a tough grader. If you make the slightest mistake on your lab she'd make you redo it until it is 100% right. Don't take her if you want an easy A.

I took Mrs. Snyder for chem 111 and it was my toughest course during the semester. She only offered one extra credit assignment that she specifically told other staff and the LAC helpers not to help students with or they would receive a zero. the assignment was something we had not learned yet so most people didn't get credit anyways.

Professor Synder really knows what she's talking about, and is very caring. Tests are long and tough, I had to spend a lot of time preparing for them. Drops lowest test grade, and gives extra credit quiz at the end of the course that is added to exams.

Professor Snyder is amazing and really knows what she is doing! Tests are long and challenging; however, as long as you study the notes and the questions at the end of chapters, you'll be golden and with an easy 4.0 due to lowest grade dropped. I would highly recommend this professor!

P. Snyder is an amazing woman, I couldn't speak more highly of her. She is very understanding and caring. Tests are very hard, so STUDY CONCEPTS and make sure you can apply them! Offers extra credit quiz at end of semester. Points will apply to each exam grade (Helped me pass the class). You'll love her as much as I did!

She lectures quickly and if you haven't had a recent chemistry course you will most likely get lost. When you ask questions, she has a tendency to make you feel bad for not understanding and then doesn't end up explaining in more detail anyway. The material is very interesting but how she goes about it is very frustrating. I'll never take her again

Lectures are long, but she gives you a break in the middle of class. She gives lots of help if you're confused. She helps students who aren't doing too well. Labs are straight forward. She knows what she is talking about.

One of the better teachers around.Always helpful and clear.Can go a bit fast but will always stop and answer each questions. lab grades are always 100% as well as extra credit quiz and the lowest exam is dropped.
