ONE OF THE HARDEST TEACHERS I'VE EVER HAD BUT YOU LEARN A LOT. I WAS TOLD TO TAKE BUTKEVICH IF I WANTED AN EASY CLASS BUT TO TAKE DR. O'CONNOR IF I WANTED TO LEARN. GLAD I TOOK DR. O'CONNOR. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO STUDY AND READ THE BOOK BUT IT'S WORTH IT.

DR. O'CONNOR IS A VERY SMART TEACHER AND KNOWS HIS STUFF, BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR EASY, TAKE SOME ONE ELSE. I JUST COMPLETED THIS CLASS, GOT A 4.0, BUT WORKED HARD TO GET IT. WORTH IT THOUGH AS I LEARNED A LOT.

He is probably one of my favorite professors because you can tell that he really enjoys his work and knows what he's talking about, unlike others. However I do not recommend talking him with chemistry courses or anything that requires a lot of studying. BE PREPARED TO LOSE YOUR SOCIAL LIFE, but it's worth it.

Had Dr. O'Connor for 101, got a 4.0, took 238 in the Spring. More difficult than 237 to begin with and in 7 weeks with O'Connor. He warned me it was going to be tough. He was NOT kidding. Got a 3.6. But, he is a great instructor, very pleasant, always with a smile on his face and that Indiana accent...

Dr. O'Connor is one of the best profs I've had. He's fair, clear and is very knowledgable in the subject. He's not there to be your pal but is never rude or demeaning toward his students. You'll have to do your part by studying but for A&P he is the best person to take it from.

I took him for 237 and 238. It's a lot to learn, because it's A&P, but he lets you know exactly what you need to. He is organized and explains things clearly. He also has a pretty good sense of humor. I enjoyed both semesters in this class and would take him agian if I could!

After taking BIOL 237 in the Spring and earning a 4.0, I was suprised to find just how difficult this course was. I am overall a 4.0 student and had a hard time. I must also add that during the semester I started a new job which may have contributed to my low grade of 2.5.

He hands out notes and then basically just reads from them, so you don't have to go to class. He's a nice guy, and he'll let you make up quizzes and tests if you can't make it/don't want to come to class when he's giving them.

it's like this -- his exams are off the handouts and some handwritten notes here and there, so you'd be a fool not to show up to class. anatomy isn't an easy subject to begin with, but you can make it easier on yourself by taking it with doc o'connor.

Dr. O'Conner is my best professor thus far. He is a challenging teacher but he definitely knows his anatomy. He is also willing to work with you if you are unclear on the material! He is very organized and bases his lectures off his handouts (hardly any extra notetaking)! I recommend him and I'm hoping to get him for Bio 238

Dr./Mr. Tom rocks. He is simply the best. Don't need to buy the textbook. Just goes by his notes. Tends to have some favorite students and loves to hear the stories they love to tell. Maybe a wee bit shy. seems to enjoy teaching lecture more than lab. Hint: his favorite candy is reese's if you want some brownie points. Hard class.

Not the best teacher to be teaching intro bio. He knows his stuff, but he doesn't make everythig too clear. Doesn't make sure that the whole class gets it before moving onto another topic. He likes to stay on schedule, and almost gets annoyed when you ask him a question.
