I had Prof. Raymo for many classes, but it was in the large entry-level classes where his gifts shone. A devoted teacher, he learned the names of every student in these classes, even though he would never see most of them again. Lectures were very well-organized. Tests were challenging but fair. His classes were the highlight of my academic life.

He was unbelievable. In high school I used to fail my Science classes, and Professor Raymo taught so well, I earned an A. Charismatic and brilliant.
