Comment:

Fascinating and inspiring professor. Great guy too. Some of his stories seem a bit far-fetched (there's no way he beat Castro at arm-wrestling. That guy was built like a bear, and Chico is a twig). Always kept class interesting. I took his class my first term, and I've thought about it ever since.

Chico is a fantastic teacher. I was terrible at latin and hated it, but he helped me understand it better than any prof I had had up to that point. Very fair grader, clear expectations, very knowledgable. Would definitely recommend him.

Comment:

Years ago took Greek/Roman Pastoral Poetry and I fell in love. Who knew it was so wonderful- I developed a real passion for the stuff. Chico is wonderful, engaging and helpful.
