Comment:

Professor Rhodes was one of the best teachers I ever had. I have never seen any teacher, on any level or in any subject, so obviously and completely in love with his subject, and able to communicate why. He is old-fashioned and stern in demeanor (in class, anyway), but every student I ever saw him be grumpy to deserved it.

Comment:

Rhodes is one of the best professors I've ever had. He forces you to really examine how you compose. He encourages creativity, while still giving extremely helpful structural techniques. Although he has a firm disposition, he wants you to learn, and he is only disappointed when a student gives him reason to be.

Comment:

Rhodes is a miserable, grumpy man who will never forgive you for being late to class. Oh and he considers the misunderstanding of a topic or concept to be an insult. He expects everyone to understand what he's teaching so he doesn't actually have to teach.
