Chip's tests are really ambiguous and vague. Beware, he advocates objective reporting, but his tests are a little too based on one person's opinion.

I agree that the class was boring, but I don't know how anyone could make it interesting. I think Chip is an interesting person and I would love to take another class with him. Notes are posted online, but be forewarned; you realize when studying that most of the notes ask questions and give no answers. Kind of makes the tests a bit hard.

YUCK! Worse class ever! Chip just stands up there and talks and talks and talks. The tests are crazy hard multiple choice. He made me now want to be a jounralism major anymore. All about Law and it was like another government class for me.

I liked to listen to Chip's stories, as they were all relevant to the subject matter. I was always angry with the guy when I got a graded assignment back. I found J105 to be a little too newspaper-like for my tastes.
