Took course from him at Capella (my last for grad school). By far the worst teacher ever. Should not be teaching. He is not helpful and does not respond to emails, questions, etc.

Dr. Duva is very rigid in his thinking. He is more a high school level teacher then a graduate teacher. I thank him for no critical analysis or evaluation of work. Due to laziness he does not look at work that is handed in after his due date way to go

He was actually a nice guy. Knows his Psychology! His lectures can be a bit boring though...I think his Diet Pepsi helps him through it! haha (inside joke, if you have him, try noticing his diet pepsi he always has!)

Dr. Duva is a professor at Capella University-he also teaches at Eastern Oregon Univeristy. He provides very little insight into the literature and does not engage or encourage in mind stimulating conversation. I find that he is unclear in his expectations and teaches at a basic undergraduate level.

Dr. Duva was a great professor, I learned a lot in his class, even though I wasn't a Psychology major! I think that the students that complain about him are just lazy, because you have to do a lot of work and reading. He gives a great lecture.

I hated this class! Duva was arrogant and sarcastic, and not in a good way. He certainly knew his stuff, but was not so good at teaching it and not at all personable. If you can get past his cockiness, the class can be okay.
