It's a very difficult class. I've never had to work so hard for a class. But she gives a lot of extra credit and curves the grades. I wouldn't recommend this class unless you're motivated and ready to work hard.

I was looking forward to studying this particular class, but it is downright horrid. I have retained none of this information. The professor simply reads the power points and the exams/ reviews have not been updated since 2005. I don't feel that the class was built to actually teach the information, but simply regurgitate it. It infuriates me.

She's a great professor. She loves what she teaches and she can make class funny as well. The tests are VERY hard, but there is extra credit available throughout the semester. I would definitely take her again.

She is a pretty funny teacher. She is always making jokes about her cats and things like that. The material can be confusing, but she will try and tell you how to pass. The tests are just too hard. Really there should be more frequent exams so that so much material will not be covered all at once.

I took this class during the summer, and believe me, there's a lot of material to learn in four weeks. Dr. Strait does her best in teaching the material to you and I definitely recommend her. However, don't slack off because you can fall behind very fast. The lecture was online, but the lab and exams were in person. I would take her again.

Really loved the class. Actually looked forward to each new topic. I took it in the summer which is a lot of information in a short amount of time. I would suggest it over taking it during the fall/spring semesters though. Study a little each night and you'll be fine. Do yourself a favor and take Dr. Strait.

GREAT TEACHER! The class is definitely difficult and has a lot of information to cover but Dr. Strait is so awesome at presenting concepts in an understandable manner. She really cares about the students and I would recommend her class to anyone who is willing to put forth the effort and work hard!

Dr. Straight was such an awesome teacher, especially for summer school! We had alot of information to get in, in only 4 weeks, and she rocked it! The test were sometimes tricky but that wouldnt' stop me from taking her again. She was always helpful and always interesting. Def Recommmend

The large amount of info you have to know for the tests makes this class difficult. She explains things well but the tests have some pretty specific questions on them. Study very hard, attend all lectures, & ask for help when you don't understand. Lab points help A LOT so do your best on the extra point quizzes and the exams.

I loved Dr. Strait. Alot of people hated the class and thought it was very difficult, but she teaches the information very well. She explains things in easier terms then the book. All her lectures (PowerPoints) are on the internet. Also she posts study guides and past tests which helps alot. I loved the class and would love to take her again.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!! she is AMAZING!!!! the class is obviously hard but she explains it in a way that is easy to understand. EVERYTHING she covers is online and even puts past tests online as a guide for exams. She is very good and I am planning on taking her next semester for BSC228. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!!!!
