Very knowledgeable on the topic, really tries to make the class fun and his tests are straight from the homeworks so if you do the assigned homeworks, you already know what questions are going to be on the test. One of my favorite professors this year.

Such a fun class! He will keep you entertained for sure! Honestly, if you don't get an A in his class, its because you aren't doing the homework! He records the classes so if you have to miss class you can watch the recordings to see what you missed. DO THE HOMEWORK!!

Prof H is as endearing as he is intelligent. His animated personality really grabs the attention of the class and always keeps lectures interesting. He is very thoughtful and is open to all sorts of questions to fuel our brains with more knowledge. Overall, I'd rate Prof H a "Super Mega WOW!!"

Dr. Herbster certainly made Thermodynamics easier than it was. Just a tip to his advisees, if it seems like he is trying to make you take many hard classes at the same time, I do not advise going this route. I did suffer quite a bit in the same way, so just be careful. Also, know how to use Matlab prior to enrolling, it will suit you well.

Easy class. The class is boring but,assignments are easy and done on canvas. Doesn't provide study guide but, the exams and assignments are literally the same thing. But the final is going to be hard because you are going to have to memorizes all the assignments from the semester. Nit a funny class but easy

The most animated exciting professor I have ever had. His love for learning is incredible and will readily talk about anything interesting. He really cares about the success of his students. He scores the homework so you can get an above 100% average on homework. He is definitely one of the best professors at ERAU.

Herbster is a great guy! Super easy to get along with. Makes jokes during class to keep students interested! Can be easy to not pay attention.. some material is very dry and boring. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Nearly all test questions are homework repeats. Tests can be difficult. Overall a good professor. Recommended if you don't mind a little challenge.

Best teacher I've had in years! If you weren't interested in meteorology before this class, you definitely will love it afterwards. Herbster really knows how to put life into the subject, keeps you awake and intrigued. Just study hard and you're guaranteed an easy A with him.

Enthusiastic, definitely likes to teach. Nice guy too. Very humorous at times, but overall the class is pretty boring. Almost no discussion involved. Lots of short hw. Tests are moderate, if you study you'll do fine. Go to class and you'll get a couple extra points on your average.

Meteorological Statistics is a good class for the weather majors. Its a lot more interesting to learn statistics on something you care about then on random examples in the engineering department. You have to teach yourself a lot, but thats a great way to learn.

Herbster is a good professor if your interested in learning broad knowledge. He's so knowledgeable that when he goes on a tangent, his tangents are basically 400 level lectures in themselves. Do your homework, study hard for the test. Herbster is flexible with students. The most important thing to him is the student's big picture for life/career.

He was an ok teacher. Class was lecture and was boring. Just goes over the powerpoint and that's about it. Homeworks are easy and if you type the question into Google, you can find most of the answers since a lot you won't find in the book. You don't really need to read the chapters. Some things on the PPT weren't too clear.

This guy clearly wanted to be a TV weatherman. If he made it, I'd watch the news just to see him go nuts like he does in class. It's a cool subject, but pretty much gives you wayyyy too much info in one lecture to even pay attention but he posts his notes online so study from there. I like just watching him get really excited. Puts HW ?s on tests
