Had him freshman year for zoology, huge class but smaller labs. He was a lot of fun I thought. Lecture was kinda boring but its a gen bio class so... my lab partner and I had difficulties one day studying in the lab room and he came in and sat with us for over an hour. Amazing man. I think he does a lot to help his students.

as a freshman you will hate him, then as you get into more classes with him you will realize that his method of teaching in the lab, especially for invert is going to make you really enjoy the material, i transfered to OSU and i probably miss his classes the most. hes a great prof and very intelligent, wish all my classes were as hands on as his
