Possibly the worst professor ever for chemistry. Not sure how he has manged to keep his job. He does not teach you anything worthwhile, better off just reading teh book myself. Lost all interest in chemistry after this course with him. DO NOT TAKE HIM, just go elsewhere.

Not sure the point of this class, not sure why we need half the stuff that is being covered. More confuse now than before. Dr. J is a terrible teacher, his lack of preparation clearly shows. I think he would rather be somewhere else.

Dr. Janzen is great! Very intelligent and super helpful if you have any questions at all. Great guy with a great personality. Class is not fun, but I would reccommend him if you're taking general chemistry. Tough grader in lab.

Dr. Janzen is very helpful -- he always asks if anyone has questions, and he's good at relaying the material back to the students -- he's always around for lab, which was an added bonus too! I'd recommend taking his classes whenever possible!

Dr. Janzen is also EXTREMELY intimidating. His lectures were unclear and very confusing. I definitely like upbeat, humorous professors and one like Dr. Janzen that laughs at you when you make mistakes (especially in lab) is NOT one of them at all!
