I have no idea if he teaches anymore. It's been 7 years since I took his class and I still think about it occasionally. He's a great teacher. He listens, he cares, and he is KNOWLEDGABLE, which was rare for the ECE dept. You are lucky if you have him as a teacher. He will believe in you when no one else does. He also makes you think, which is great

He is very passionate about teaching students science and making it meaningful to them. With 25 students in his class ranging in teaching interests from preK-8, Dr. Muire makes sure to provide resources that we all will be able to use. This professor would give you his heart and soul if you told him they would make you a better teacher!

As the only science concentration at the school right now I think I can say that Dr. Muire is wonderful. Of course, if you have no interest in teaching science sure you would think it was useless...but the man knows his stuff...whether you do or not.
