Steven Bell changed my life. I was lucky enough to get him as a professor early in his career when all this "teacher rating" BS did not exist. Dr. Bell leaves in his legs say all that an educator is all about. Teach, experience, change lives. I am who I am because of Berry College and it's professors, especially Dr. Bell.

Dr. Bell is retiring at the end of the 2015-2016 school year. It's gonna be a big loss to the college. While he is disorganized and can be a little hard to follow is will bend over backwards to explain it a different way if you ask. He has really valuable life experience he loves to share.

Funny in class but super confusing! I never really knew what he was talking about, and his directions were always incredibly vague. I actually thought he was a great teacher when I could figure out what he was talking about. You just have to press him for more specific directions a lot.

Dr. Bell has probably been one of the most influential men in my life. Not only is he an interesting professor, but he is always will to sit down with you in his office and discuss class or anything else. If you are shy, or anal about organization, you need to get over it and enjoy the life lessons not the lecture.

A great guy but so incredibly disorganized. This was a 1-hour class and I did more work in it than many of my 3-hour classes. None of the assignments were graded as they were supposed to be in the syllabus. Also, HE LOST EVERYONE'S PAPERS at the end of the class. When I say disorganized, I mean it.

Dr. Bell is one of the most hilarious people ever! He has a very, um... dry? sense of humor, and will poke at students (especially those who speak up in class). He's always kidding around, and he will stop if you say that it bothers you. He's a little confusing sometimes, but is always willing to help outside of class and can "recycle" all work

Definitely unorganized but then so am I. If assignment date was unclear he allowed extra time for our assignments. Takes a while to understand sense of humor but just don't take him seriously. He let us re-do our assignment but charges points to do so. Overall wonderful man and class.

He is such a funny man!!! I love his class thus far. I enjoy sitting in his class and learning what he has to teach. He could be a little more clear on how to do somethings, but overall, I would recommend his class to everyone.

Very engaging lectures and activities. My only problem was with his ability to explain the assignments that were due. I would follow his directions as closely as possible, but there was so much ambiguity with his directions that I would enevitably have to re-do the assignment to meet his real expectations. If you can get past that you'll be fine.

He is an amazing teacher. The activities and assignments in his class had purpose. With each assignment cam new insights into the realities of being a teacher. He is the only one that was not afraid to tell the truth about being a great teacher. A role model to all. A great man.
