Chris is the best lecturer at UPEI, is an all around great guy, and if you work for him, he will work for you. Expect to work hard, but see it pay off. My one complaint about Chris is that sometimes when he talks to you, you feel like you're back in elementary school, can very condescending.

Honestly my favourite professor at UPEI. Excellent sense of humour, I can't go one lecture without laughing at his jokes. Easy going man who gives great lectures. Very quick thinker and intelligent man. During consultative hours, he can look at your code for 5 seconds and find the problem. Take all possible classes that he teaches!

Great guy, great teacher and really wants to help you learn. I can't say enough good things about Chris - if you see a course taught by him, take it. Assignments will stretch your brain, but the tests will fit in it pretty easily afterwards. Best prof I've had across 3 universities.

Unlike all the other CS profs at UPEI, Chris does not have a PHD. Despite that he seems to know WAY more than all the others put together. Not only that, he can teach you WAY better than the others as well. Grade A+++ teaching, great guy. Likes showing you youtube videos in his office!

Chris taught the labs but I learned far more in an hour lab from Chris than 3hrs from the regular prof. Hilarious person with a great attitude. If you need help with an assignment, etc. see this man! He'll explain it perfectly. I still say hey to this fella years after he taught a lab I was in.
