Great professor! Very clear with course content and his class has an amazing atmosphere, his tests are difficult, but if you understand the concepts well and have done the assignments you will be okay! I had him for math151 and decided to sit in on his math152 section after my class with another prof because he is THAT good of a professor! Smiles!

Things are crystal clear when he explains them; I was never confused in any lecture during the past two semesters. He obviously knows what he's doing, and he's got lecturing down to an art. But his tests are absolutely brutal. They're very fair, don't get me wrong, but they're not to be taken lightly. Nice guy (get used to the smile). Recommended.

I am torn on this prof about whether or not I would recommend him. You have to be BRILLIANT to pass his tests. They are incredibly difficult and few people make above C. He WAS helpful and intuitive in his teaching, but that doesn't excuse the rate at which people failed.

He is a decent professor, however he only gives the simplest examples in class, then provides some of the hardest one for the tests and quizzes. He sometimes skips steps that are not obvious but if you go to his office, he definitely willing to help you out!

Excellent prof. He shows us very intuitive ways of interpreting mathematics. Doesn't seem to be much of a morning person (makes a few common errors here and there). His quizzes are just the right amount of challenging. My recommendations: take less notes (other than things to memorize), and pay more attention. You will learn to be intuitive.

Nice enough, but pretty boring. He tends to skip steps and leave out important info when explaining things. The tests are HARD. Overall, I'd rather be in Sweet's class.
