An amazing guy. His class isn't super exciting, but it's easy to follow. You don't have to show up in order to get the information. He assigns a lot of readings, but you don't really have to read them because he goes over the entire reading in class. Only a few quizzes, which are only 3 or 4 short answer questions.

Here is a professor that changed my life. I would HIGHLY recommend Christian due to the impact he had in and out of the classroom. I had the privilege and honor of taking one of his classes and really miss all aspects. Please understand how influential and genuinely caring this man truly is. I would take his class a thousand times over if I could.

Ways of Knowing was a fantastic class that challenged me to think about a way of being as a way of knowing.

Thinks outside the box, which leads to innovative and interesting conversations and discussions. Logic and critical thinking class was very valuable, despite what some other commenters have suggested. If you invest in Christian's classes, you learn loads. If you don't try at all, it will be a waste of time.

I had Christian for as an adjunct professor at Fuller Theological Seminary (CA) for "Faith and Reason." Christian definitely did not stick to the standard Philosophy 101 track, but that's why his class so interesting. He presented a new way of thinking about what it means to be a Christian in pluralist world. Awesome wit, and very scatterbrained.

Christian's generally a good prof, responsive to student feedback, and his classes are enjoyable (yes he's very quotable, a la foot-in-mouth). He's pretty scatterbrained, though.

Why is he teaching a class that he hates? The guy thinks learning logic is a waste of time. Why doesn't he let the students learn it and then be in a position to judge for themselves whether it's a waste of time? I want my money back.
