Heavy group work. He's nice, but requires a ton of critical thinking from his students. Attendance is taken sporadically, so you might get lucky one day. Overall, he's a good teacher.

He's an easy grader, but you won't learn anything. His class is just gibberish. Students tend to like him because they don't really have to do any work. On the graduate level, taking his class is just a waste of your time. Just ask him for a reading list and look over the material on your own. Seems annoyed by students.

One of my favorite professors at UNCG, he is very well-qualified in subject matter and genuinely enjoyed the material. He offered help with papers throughout the semester, and his jokes were pretty funny, overall, great!

I took this class over the summer and it was great. I had heard everyone say it was the most difficult English class, not at all.

Sometimes he talked in circles, but other than that he's a funny guy. He gives you(the class) the opportunity to alter the syllabus. So we made it so that there was only one assignment for the entire class... which was a fun final presentation.

The only grade was a final presentation and there was no effort required otherwise. The class is boring, but he sure is nice to look at. ;)

I did not like this class and dreaded it, yet for a 3 week course over the summer it really can't be beat. Somehow final presentation makes it pretty interesting and got an A with little effort, practically forgetting my disdain for it the 2 weeks beforehand.

This class was pretty weird. The only grade was the final presentation and even though it was speaking intensive, no one but him talked the entire time. Still, I got a B for almost no effort, so I can't complain.

I was scared of this class when I first came in, and I was at first very intimidated by him. However, as the class progressed, it became a very rewarding experience. I've never been required to speak up in class discuss as much as in this class.
