Comment:

Professor Abbott was really good. She is very clear about what you need to know on tests, and manages her class so that she doesn't have to rush through lessons. There is a considerable amount of work, but it isn't overly difficult. Overall I would take her class again, she really knows what shes doing.

Professor Abbott really knows what she is doing! She is a great professor. She has very clear expectations and gives you plenty of time to do work. She is pretty clear in her lectures and has nice note packets. Her class is very fair, and as long as you pay attention then you will do fine on tests.

High quality professor. I was really daunted by Calculus 1 and she made it so much more palatable than I ever would've thought. As in every math course, lots of work is required. While her textbook HW isn't required or anything - DO IT. It saved my grade. Graded HW is all online and there isn't that much to do. Her exams are very straight forward.

Professor Abbott is a very good professor. I am pretty good at math, but she made calculus feel way easier than I thought it would be. As long as you're on time and do the homework, you can pass her classes. She is a very good professor, doesn't get off topic, and is willing to help. She will help you pass the class.

Prof. Abbott is probably one my fav profs ever. She's very thorough with her explanations and she knows exactly what she wants you to know in order for you to succeed. Attend class regularly and do the MML reviews and you'll be fine. She cares about her students and is easy to approach.

Because of this professor my favorite class became my least favorite class. She is nice and there's almost no homework but her tests are the hardest and almost nothing from what we learn in class. The final was the hardest exam I've ever taken in my life. Takes attendance before the class starts.

This lady has to have some mystical powers or something, I swear. I got an A in this class by merely doing the MML homework and and going through the notes the night before the tests, she is THAT clear. Take Calculus with her, you won't regret it. Best Math professor at MCC hands down.

My precalc class in HS covered up to the chain rule so that was a breeze. But anything after that she made incredibly easy and went into great detail with her example, she has specific expectations for solving problems, but those methods prove invaluable for anyone who struggles with math.

If you study and do the MYMathLabs you should be in good shape for the test. Shes great and have ample review before tests. Had a little problem with me because I was late alot. She has a very shy humor and will be as funny as the class lets her, just laugh!

Ms. Abbott was my ideal teacher. Especially for math, she had consistently organized classes and it was very clear what we would do each day. It's important to take down the notes she gives in class. Stats is a little boring but it's the easiest math course you'll take.

She is an amazing teacher and is one of the few math teachers who know HOW to teach and cares about her students. Homework is given but not graded, do it it helps. Exams are easy if you do the homework and attend class.

Prof Abbott literally wrote the book on Survey of Mathematics. ZERO homework. A few quizzes (usually <10 questions) due every week, and 5 tests. You can take them all(tests too) as many times as you need for the week they are open. If you fail her class, you just didn't try at all!

Professor Abbott is great. I was kind of scared of calc before I took this class but it ended up being the easiest math class I have taken since 104
