Prof. Adams is an amazing professor. She does talk very fast, but she will answer any question you have on the material. Always responds to emails. Assigns a lot of reading, but it is college. Very passionate about Western Europe, especially France. Just be engaging during her classes.

Always responsive to her emails, usually within an hour you'll have a response. Lectures tend to be longwinded solely because students don't do the reading and can't answer the questions she throws out at them. Makes her have to answer the questions her own self, and steer the discussion towards the revelation she wants everybody to make.

Every class is a long lecture with students not knowing the answer to her questions. She grades hard, but pretty fair. You have to ask for help, and she is not a fan of procrastination. She is nice and very enthusiastic about the material. SO MUCH READING OH MY GOD. studying for tests is hard but if u hard try you'll be fine.

Terrible! Talks fast as an auctioneer, very confusing. Hard grader. There are no textbooks, only contemporary novels/historical fiction, so you can't even turn to a textbook for clarifying. Focuses on social stuff (e.g. Freud). Learned more about sexuality than I did history. Very disappointing class for a history buff, and definitely NOT an easy A

Good professor, lots of reading assigned during semester but I got away with only reading about half of the books and got a B...worth taking, but I often got bored.

This class made me want to jump out of the window in Kent Hall. She talked, about France, nonstop for an entire semester. The class consisted of two hour lectures....no questions asked, nothing. Just listening to her talk about France. Maybe it's because I'm not a history major but I wouldn't recommend this class.

This teacher is so helpful. Her class is really interesting and she really loves to talk about France (she speaks it and lived there). A lot of notes and reading, therefore extra time studying, but it is all pretty self explanatory. everything is reflected on tests so pay attention. she's really knowledgable. makes me want to change my major.

I'm sure if I appriciated being lectured for 2 hours I would have enjoyed the class more. Tests were easy and a study guide was given. However, making it through the class was a little labor intensive. (ie: staying attentive). Try to take this class three times a week, not two. The sessions are just a little too long.

Professor Adams lectures very clearly and interestingly. She also challenges people to think more effectively. I learned a LOT from her class. Tests aren't bad as long as you don't cram them. I studied hard and did well.

Dr. Adams is one of the best professors in the History department. She's very engaging and a great lecturer. I feel like I've learned more from her class than I have in any others in my college career. She's a fair grader and really stresses quality. She's also really cool and approachable.

The words do not exist to express my love for Dr Adams. She's smart, really nice and helpful with every question I've ever had. She replies to e-mail at 10pm. And on top of all that, she's hot! I want to be this woman, she's amazing. Highly recommended. She does make you work, but you'll love every minute of it

Adams means reading...but interesting reading for the most part. She makes history a lot more enjoyable than I though possible. Tests require a lot of studying but contain nothing unexpected. Also, if you like French history, you'll like her class. She has a personal interest in France (she lived there, once) so she tends to slant her lessons.

This professor was exceptionally interesting to listen to in lectures. She did tend to assign a lot of reading, but I found that I read and enjoyed almost everything assigned. I'd take another class with her if she offered one that corrolated with my schedule.

Professor Adams can be cocieved as a difficult professor if students dont take the initiative to be active members in the learning process. If you need clarification, she will clarify.she is very enthusiastic about her classes.if you dont want to be challenged, dont take the class, let someone else

Professor Adams was awesome, though tough, she was very fair. Its a lot of reading and notes, but she made me interested in the subject. I wasn't happy about being required to take this course, but she made it worth it. I loved her, take it if you want to be interested in the subject
