Comment:
Glennon is a mixed bag. He's super engaged and makes class interesting and discussion oriented. You are penalized for skipping class. Glennon is a tough grader who often doesn't give adequate feedback; most of the course grade is decided by a few assignments, and the objective portion of the final exam tests terms that are far too specific.

A really cool guy! NO tests, but 2 readings and a short summary of 1 reading per week. These are easy to skim, but just make sure you have some understanding or Fred will be upset. Midterm was a 4 page case study analysis. So was the final, but in a group. All of the notes are put on canvas, but are vague so you would benefit from taking notes.

I didn't know what to expect going in to class with him but walking out, I hated it. I did a paper on gay marriage and because he didn't agree with me, he basically ripped my paper apart. His grading is not clear and what he wants in your papers is not either. I would never take him again. If he doesn't agree with you, forget getting a good grade.

Guy likes to be called Fred. A LOT of reading and he knows what's in the textbook, because he wrote it. You can sort of get by without reading, but he gets upset if you don't read. Likes to have class discussions, but will make them VERY awkward if possible, like asking "So how do you feel about female circumcision?" Nice guy take at your own risk

Prof. Glennon's grading is very unclear. He will give you good grade if he agrees with what you're saying, but otherwise forget it. Gives a million reading assignments and his classes are the worst hour fifteen minutes of my day. Avoid if possible.

Fred is really great! By far the best professor I've had at Le Moyne. There is a fair amount of reading, read the assignments because it will make the class much more rewarding. He is also very helpful and hilarious. Definitely would take him again.

Professor Glennon is awesome! He lets you make up your own syllabus, it really helps with making you responsible for your own learning and makes you accountable. Be ready to do a lot of reading, there's no textbook but a lot of online articles. Just read them, it makes the class more interesting. Do the reading responses, they're easy 100s.

Fred is one of the best professors I've had since I've been at Le Moyne. I took two classes with him and if I could take more, I definitely would. He's funny, brilliant, and discusses relevant material. He will also manipulate your grade to give you the highest letter grade he can. Fred wants his students to do well and learn.

If you don't procrastinate you have the potential to make this the easiest A you've ever gotten in a class. Why? There aren't true quizzes or tests, and he lets you make your own assignments and decide your own grade. Be smart and make all your assignments due early in the year, at least before the mid-terms. That way easy end of the semester.

Fred is a great teacher who knows a lot about what he teaches. However, he taught an ethics class with the mindset that only his ethical perspective was correct. I would absolutely take his class again, as I learned so much from it. Just be cautious that he likes you to think like him. Super nice guy.

You weirdly create your own syllabus and pick your projects or major assignments for the semester. They're a pain, Fred's a difficult grader, and you cannot miss class. Even if you have an excused absence he counts it as one you're allowed to miss. Engaging teacher, funny, makes class interesting.

create your own syllabus, but he is very vague in explaining this. Very tough grader. You have a lot of freedom, but its actually a bad thing because the class has no structure or direction

Every student felt mislead. It was a class based on social responsibility, but unless you agreed with him you were chastised - don't disagree. Granted, you could create your own syllabus - but even with the most simple assignments, without days worth of work and preparation there was no way to receive an A. He was an extremely hard grader.

Fred is the man!! I would definately recomend him for any class. He allowed us to make our own syllabus along with due dates that could be changed and percentages of how much each counted. If you can take his class, get in there early! He is hilarious!
