Dr. Escher was one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She was very helpful explaining complex subjects in a way that was easy to understand. She also had a good sense of humor, which made the class a lot more fun and interesting.

Great teacher, really understanding of those who don't "get it" right away. Homework is fair and allows you to fail and try again (for 100% credit) instead of some classes where you try once and that's it. Learned a lot.

Her lecture are very organized and she is not afraid to slow down to help people understand. She is aware that everyone is not a geniuses at math. She is extremely helpful in office hour and she is a very fair grader. As noted her jokes are very funny.

She's extremely fair and teaches straight to the point of the topic for class. She's very helpful willing to meet with students and very nice. The class is hard and the final is very hard, go over the past midterms and the most recent homework assignments, long word problems requiring to draw out diagrams and look over the beginning chapters.

Great teacher, she explains all of the derivations and theory very clearly and goes through many examples with excellent explanations. This is a very difficult course and the material itself is extremely tough to grasp but it is definitely very interesting and powerful mathematics. Worth the effort.

This is a VERY difficult class,but thats not her fault,its just hard material.She is the professor I've had who cares the most about her student's grades.I swear if you told her the only time you could meet was 2 am on Fri she would work something out-she's very willing to help.LOVED the labs.
