Comment:

When you hear her lecture you know she is passionate about what she is teaching. She laughs and says umm quite a bit, but once you get past that, you'll find that she is always well prepared for class, and can answer almost any question you ask. She only assigned one long paper and the rest are reading responses. If you put effort in, you'll pass.

Avoid The Crusades like the plague! It was one of the most intellectually degrading classes I ever took. We had to write a long ass lit review, 3-4 papers, and the final exam was a profound and confusing joke, which she doesn't tell you how to cite properly. If you don't absolutely need this class, don't take it or any class with her.

You can't consider what she does teaching. The only thing she does more than laugh is say ummm. She gives homework that almost everyone doesn't understand. She is incompetent. She doesn't explain anything and when you go to her for help you leave more confused then when you walked in. Most annoying thing is just being around her. She is unbearable.

A great academic, and a great professor to learn from. Has an exceptional worldview and can concisely project the big picture. While I was a Cadet, Dr. McCann helped me develop one of my first major research papers and helped me develop top-notch research, writing and analytical skills. I am glad I took her courses.
